CG Concepts/Mock ups
Here are some of the images I have designed for the attraction including signage and the interactive elements. These images were designed using Adobe Fireworks CS5
Logo's
The above is the logo for the attraction itself. I imagine it outside on the Facade of the show building, imposing and intriguing
The logo for fictional corporation Orcus Corp. The company responsible for the madness that guests will face in the attraction.
Interactive Elements
OK, so this isn't necessarily an interactive element. It will be a moving map in the 'Engineer 426' scene. A live actor will be responding to a video of an engineer who is moving through the ventilation system and this moving map will be on the wall accompanying the video. The two 'unknown' blips represent alien creatures moving towards him.
For the scene where guests have to shut down Minerva, the sinister AI entity on board the space station, guests must use the above pumps (at various points in the room) and 'pump up' the shut down system. when the correct level is reached, the live actor will signal for guests to press the 'Execute AI entity' buttons to finish the scene.
In the 'setting the defences' scene, guests will be stood at different consoles like the one above. When directed by the live actor in the scene guests will push their button. Each will have a different function and trigger a different effect. Really putting the action into guests hands.
Signs & Theming
The above sign would be present once guests enter the attraction. This huge sign above their heads will allow the scene to be set and indicate to guests that they are on board the ACC Salvation.
An example of themed signage which would be present in the first scene before guests are briefed on the attraction. Giving detail and realism to the immersive themed space.
An example of signage found on board the space station TERMINUS IV. note the Orcus Corp logo present on all corporate signs.
Whilst not all guests will read the above sign. It will give an indication to the strict conditions that the crew of the doomed Terminus IV had to live and work under. It also suggests that Orcus Corp do not want people finding out what they are up to.
The above is an example of the battle damage that will be prevalent in the space station as well as hints of the terrible fate that has befallen the crew of TERMINUS IV
